BC Fruit Works est une initiative de collaboration entre la BC Cherry Association, la BC Fruit Grower’s Association, la BC Grapegrowers’ Association, la BC Tree Fruits Cooperative et le ministère de l’agriculture et de l’alimentation de la Colombie-Britannique.

Ce programme vise à inciter les Canadiens à travailler dans les vergers et les vignobles de la Colombie-Britannique en tant que Branch Hands (travailleurs agricoles saisonniers) afin d’accroître la disponibilité des produits locaux, de soutenir la communauté agricole canadienne et de permettre aux producteurs de trouver et d’embaucher plus facilement des travailleurs agricoles canadiens.

L’objectif de ce programme est de constituer l’avenir de l’embauche de Canadiens pour travailler dans les vergers de la Colombie-Britannique, en mettant en relation les producteurs et les demandeurs d’emploi d’été.
