For Growers

BC Fruit Works: Supporting growers and packers in the BC Interior

As a grower/shipper of cherries, apples or grapes in the BC Interior, you know how much time and effort you spend each year trying to find seasonal ag workers.

At BC Fruit Works, a collaboration between the BC Cherry Association, BC Fruit Grower’s Association, BC Grapegrowers’ Association, BC Tree Fruits Cooperative, and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food, our mission is to facilitate this effort, connecting regional growers and packers with seasonal ag workers (Branch Hands) who are eligible to work In Canada in 2023.

Our job-matching process makes it easy. You post a job description on BC Fruit Works which is then forwarded to registered Branch Hands via text message. If they are interested, they will reply ‘yes’, you will receive their contact information. From there, it’s between you and the Branch Hands who express interest. It’s a win-win.
